I wanted to reach out to thank this office for always showing a positive side in the healthcare industry.

My first appointment I didn’t know what to expect and was nervous. As someone with chronic illnesses I see a lot of doctors and it’s rare after going through treatment to have nothing but positive things to say after. This office was immediately welcoming to me from the moment I walked in the door, this office went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable during my testing, and this office has been incredible with billing flexibility. I can say until now I’ve never had an office kind enough to work with me on billing without additional challenges and obstacles to get through to do so. I highly appreciate the attentiveness of this office, the level of care and understanding they provide, and the genuine employees who have made working with them easier than I could’ve ever possibly imagined. Allow me to mention that the strap Krystal gave me to secure my leg bag while very efficient its velcro loses it's stickability after a few times. I found a 27"x1" Velcro strap at Ace hardware that is more secure and stronger If interested you can find it at VELCRO® Brand Fasteners | Velcro.com their item number 90441. "I am very thankful that I found the Continence Center of America in Peoria over 10 years ago. When I discovered I had a prolapse, I thought I would probably need surgery, but my gynecologist referred me to CCA. Many doctors recommend surgery right away because they do not realize how great a pessary is, or what it is! My first practitioner, Barbara, became a good friend and I was comfortable talking to her about anything. Barbara retired and the new practitioner, Denise, is just as nice and friendly and knowledgeable as Barbara was. She made me feel like she cares for her patients and she is very knowledgeable. My family would be out, maybe at a mall, and I would have to find a seat while they enjoyed the day. I could not walk very far at all and had to give up most family activities. After my first visit to your office, I regained my life. I can exercise, shop, and I even walked the Grand Canyon!

"I recently had to take my mom to CCA. The Staff was the most caring and professional that I have ever encountered. My mom, who is 87, had suffered a pretty bad fall prior to the appointment. It was a struggle to get her to CCA, and I had to bring her in her pajamas. We didn't even do a very good job with the paperwork. To say the least - we were both frazzled and overwhelmed. From the moment we stepped into the office, we were greeted and treated by the most gracious people. We both felt at ease immediately. My mom, who has dementia, can be difficult, but everyone was so kind that she commented that she wanted the CCA people to be her Dr.'s. This is a huge compliment from her. By their kindness, and speedy professionalism - they made our day so much easier, and the situation not so crushing for us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

"I have had what has been diagnosed as bowel incontinence. It is something you would not wish on your worst enemy. It took me two weeks to find the words to describe it to my primary care person. She told me she could not help me with my situation, but she could get me to good people who could help.

On my first visit to CCA, I met Barbara Wiggin and her Staff. They were very patient and understanding. I was told they could help and it would take 4-6 weeks. I was ready. They gave me exercises to do and suggested I eat fiber. I did both with a passion. I was depressed after two weeks to see no improvement. I was tol.d to "think positively" and to continue my routine. I did this. By week 5, I was "cured." I was back to normal.

I can't thank CCA enough. They made me feel like a human being again."

"I have been coming to CCA since March of 2002. I had a urodynamics test and then office visits to solve bladder problems that had begun in 1999 and became more complicated after a hysterectomy and bladder suspension in 2001. For 8 months I was unable to work or do daily activities where a bathroom was not close by. But testing, electrical stimulation, pessaries and research by the CCA staff helped me manage bladder problems and return to work and an active outdoor life. The Staff at CCA has always provided appointments that were punctual, friendly and informative. The topic is not one that is comfortable discussing, but the CCA staff has made it seem like it's a medical problem with solutions and not something that can't be solved or discussed confidentially with them. I am grateful to the Staff at CCA for providing me with continued good service, suggestions and products for the last 11 years."
